The heat of summer has finally arrived. Our favourite time of year for lounging by the lake and enjoying outdoor picnics and BBQs has brought with it a very unfortunate wildfire season. Our hearts goes out to all of the communities affected by this season’s especially scary and destructive fires. Featured Product: The Finnish Long Drink
The Finnish Long Drink is an idea that came about post World War 2, as Finland was preparing to host the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. On the hunt for a revolutionary new drink to serve thirsty visitors, the Finnish Long Drink was born. These sparkling canned cocktails made it to North America 70 years later, and we were eager to try this exciting piece of Finnish culture.
Their Traditional Citrus flavour is what started it all, made with citrus soda and a punch of premium liquor. Since then, the company has released all kinds of flavours including Peach, Pineapple and Cranberry, plus zero sugar versions that measure out to under 100 calories per can.
